Hot take: That art show judge told me my piece looked 'incomplete.'

My professor said my field notes read like a grocery list, so I started sketching every artifact's position from two angles.

I was at the salvage yard in Bakersfield yesterday and saw a 2020 Civic with the entire front end perfectly cut out for parts. Changed how I think about major repairs.

A friend told me my favorite anime is actually bad

Ugh totally, @seanperry nailed it. My taste is already questionable enough, so I'm not letting anyone talk me out of loving a dumb movie.

My camera mount gave out right as the Orion Nebula was coming into view last night, total bummer.

That Orion shot was probably gonna be amazing.

That time I bought a 'magic' spray-on curing compound

Oh man, that fast set stuff is no joke. My cousin tried using some on his driveway and ended up with a lumpy mess that looked worse than the crack. He said it was like racing against the sun.

Tried a different pump speed on a silt job near the river and it clogged everything

We just used a jetter last time, cleared it fast.

I finally stopped wrapping my brisket halfway through the cook

That reminds me of a guy at a Memphis rib fest who swore by just a heavy rub and zero spritz. His theory was that opening the smoker too much was the real problem, not the wrap itself (which honestly made me rethink my whole process). I tried his method once and the ribs were good, but my fire management was a total mess that day.
