Floral foam looks soft and harmless so nobody thinks twice about slicing into it on the kitchen table. What got me curious is whether you were using a hot wire cutter or just a regular knife, since I've heard the hot tools can put off fumes on top of the dust and make things way worse. Also, did the clinic in Portland tell you if it's the formaldehyde in the foam that's the actual problem, or just the particles themselves? I've got a half brick of the green stuff sitting in my craft bin right now and I'm honestly wondering if I should just toss it.
