inFlickering tablet screen has me stumped after a basic repair
My neighbor's Kindle Fire was doing that crazy flicker thing after I replaced the battery. I swear, cleaning the connectors with alcohol did nothing at first, and I was ready to toss it. Then I read online about gently rubbing the gold pins on the cable with a white eraser, which sounds weird but it worked. It took a few tries and I had to blow out all the eraser dust, but the screen finally stayed solid. Honestly, sometimes it's just about getting all the tiny bits of grime off, even if you can't see them. Don't give up yet, try the eraser trick on both the cable and the board.

inTIL a blog on bottle caps changed my view on small hobbies
Small hobbies can surprise you with their depth. That bottle cap blog probably shows how culture changes through tiny art. It's a reminder that details matter.

inCable installer in my alley had a standoff with a raccoon
But don't human mistakes cause way more outages? I've read about backhoes cutting lines all the time. Or software updates that go wrong and crash systems for hours. Animal damage is pretty rare compared to that. We just hear about the squirrel stories because they're funny, not because they're common. Honestly, our own tech fails more often than wildlife messes it up!
