My old phone's battery was dying after 2 hours, so I switched to a Pixel 8a.
I was charging my old phone three times a day, which was a real pain. The Pixel 8a easily gets me through a full day now, even with heavy use. The difference is just having a battery that actually works for modern apps. Has anyone else found a phone that really fixed their battery life problems?

Yeah, that three times a day charging loop is the worst. Been there. Honestly, the biggest fix for me was just getting a phone that wasn't three years old. Newer batteries handle background tasks way better. My old phone would drain just sitting in my pocket. Glad the 8a worked out, that's a solid choice. Lasts all day now without even thinking about it.

Oh man, my friend was in the same boat with his ancient phone! He finally got a new one last month and said it's like a weight off his shoulders not watching the battery drop all day. It's crazy how much a fresh battery changes everything.

My old phone got to the point where I'd charge it in the car for the ten minute drive to a job site just to get it from 8% to 12%. It was basically a fancy watch that could make emergency calls.
