Wow, that's wild! Did the new mix change how the wood grain looked too?

Yeah, it can even change how the wood feels to the touch. A harder finish might make the grain feel more raised, while a softer one keeps it smooth. That texture shift is a big part of the final look.

Totally changed it! The grain got way more defined, almost 3D. Let it cure fully before you decide if you like it though.
