Found a weird metal box in a Seattle alley, had to decide whether to open it or not
It was taped shut and had no markings. My friend said to just toss it, but I was too curious. I took it home and used a flathead screwdriver to pry it open. Inside was a stack of old, faded postcards from the 1970s, all from the same person. They were just vacation notes, nothing valuable, but it felt like a little piece of someone's life. Does anyone think I should have just left it sealed?

Nah, you did the right thing. That curiosity is what makes life fun. What are you gonna do with the postcards now?

Ever try to find the person who wrote them? I found a similar box of letters once, tracked down the family through an old address, and they were super grateful to have them.
