inI still remember when hanging beef meant dry aging in a real cooler, not just throwing a bag over it
Had a buddy who worked at this high end place in Boston where they tried bag aging a whole striploin for 45 days. Walked in one morning and the bag had this funky smell like sour gym socks mixed with beef broth. They cut it open and the crust was all slimy, had to toss the whole thing. That's when he said never again, old school hanging or nothing for him. You ever have a bag job go sideways on you?

inFound a bookmark for a 'how to fold a fitted sheet' video from 2012
Hell yeah, I still have a bookmark for a 2011 video on how to properly load a dishwasher. Saved my ass way too many times to ever delete it.

inTried two different ways to record a beat on a 90s Casio keyboard and wow what a difference
Mike tried recording a beat on his SK-1 at 2am and woke up his whole apartment building.

inMy zine went from a 10-page mess to a 50-page beast in like 4 months
Wait, is it really "stealing" if you're just writing down stuff people say in public? I feel like that's pretty standard for any kind of reporting or documentary work, especially if you're not using names or specific identifying details. Like, half the fun of a zine is catching those weird overheard conversations and the raw texture of everyday life, right? The problem only comes in if you're copying someone's entire personal story word-for-word without adding any context or your own take on it. But just jotting down a funny complaint on the bus and then riffing on it in your own voice feels more like sampling than stealing. I think that's actually a pretty classic zine move, not something to feel weird about.
