Swapping roses for carnations saved my last outdoor wedding order.

I used to avoid carnations, but they don't droop in the heat like roses do. Clients didn't even notice the switch.

Yeah I read an article last year about how newer carnation varieties are actually bred for way better heat tolerance. They said some types can handle direct sun for a full ceremony without wilting at all. Makes total sense why your clients didn't spot the difference, they just saw a full, sturdy flower.
