Vent: My A/B test on landing pages just completely backfired after 3 weeks of data

Same here, still got the scars to prove it.

PSA: Spent $200 on a brush pack that ruined my latest piece

Preview images are literally designed to make brushes look good regardless of the actual quality. Watching time lapses is just as easy to fake with some clever editing and a presaved custom workspace. At the end of the day you're still trusting someone's marketing either way, might as well just buy what you need and test it yourself.

PSA: The old timer who told me to use vinegar instead of fabric softener was absolutely right.

Okay so here's the thing nobody brings up about the vinegar laundry thing - it actually DESTROYS your washing machine rubber seals over time. I learned this the hard way after my front loader started leaking and the repair guy showed me the door gasket all cracked and brittle. He said the acidity eats away at the rubber, plastic parts, and even the little drain pump impeller. So you might end up with a $400 repair bill just from trying to save a few bucks on detergent. Plus if you're on a septic system like me, the vinegar kills the good bacteria in the tank and messes up the whole breakdown process. Total hidden costs that nobody talks about in those DIY posts.

Fresh vs frozen broccoli in the air fryer - not even close

My friend Sarah tried the exact same thing last month with a bag of frozen cauliflower and she was so mad about it. She said the air fryer made them look like sad little wet sponges with crunchy edges. She even tried patting them dry with paper towels before cooking and it still came out nasty. She's sworn off frozen veggies in there ever since.

Finally got that stubborn 6.7 Powerstroke oil leak to quit after chasing it for two days.

The idea of tightening a clamp on a hot turbo drain gasket sounds like a perfect way to crack something. I'd rather just replace it and sleep at night.
