TIL my toaster clicks in morse code when it's about to rain

For ages I thought it was broken, but my grandad's old manual showed it's a leftover feature. Ever notice something odd that turned out to have a simple fix?

Honestly, that must have been so confusing before you figured it out. Tbh, I've totally misjudged weird noises from my own stuff before. It's a relief when there's actually a reason for it.
