Bought a 'magic' stain remover bar online for $25. It was just soap.
Saw an ad for this thing that promised to lift any stain in seconds. The video showed red wine vanishing from a white shirt. Ordered it right away. It arrived in a plain box, just a small white bar. Tried it on an old coffee stain on my couch. Did nothing. Rubbed it for ten minutes, just made the fabric wet. Checked the tiny print on the wrapper. Ingredients: soap and fragrance. Total waste. Anyone know a real way to get a set-in coffee mark out of light fabric?

Honestly that baking soda paste never did much for me, just made a gritty mess.
