Spent 45 minutes trying to fix a steamer that just needed the cap loosened
I was in the middle of a facial and my steamer started sputtering and dying. grabbed my tools, took the whole thing apart, checked every hose and seal. After wasting almost an hour and getting water everywhere, i realized the fill cap was just screwed on too tight and creating a vacuum. Has anyone else had a panic moment over something that simple?

Jumped into a similar situation with my espresso machine last month. Started pulling shots and got nothing but a weak dribble, so I tore the whole grouphead apart, cleaned every screen and gasket, even checked the pump pressure. After an hour of frustration I noticed the little steam wand cap was barely threaded on and killing all the pressure in the boiler. Felt like a complete idiot standing in a puddle of coffee water holding a screwdriver I didn't need.

Oh man, doesn't that just make you want to throw the whole machine out the window? I've been there more times than I care to admit, tearing apart something complicated only to realize the issue was something stupidly simple I overlooked. It's always the little things that get you, like a loose cap or a seal you forgot to put back, and you just stand there feeling like you wasted a whole afternoon for nothing.
