PSA: I wasted $40 on a photo editing app that just makes bad crops look worse

Bought this fancy app thinking it would fix my crooked screenshots, but all it did was add jagged edges and weird color tints. Anyone else blow money on editing tools that made things worse?

and the jagged edges are the worst part, right? i tried one of those "AI sharpeners" and it turned my sunset into a pixelated mess of brown and orange blobs. the tint thing is so annoying too - my landscape shots came out looking like i was wearing rose colored glasses for no reason. honestly i just stick to the basic free crop tool on my laptop now, it does the job without ruining everything. learned my lesson the hard way with sketchy plugins that promise magic but deliver garbage.

wait... did anyone else catch that article from like a few months back where some photographer tested like 10 different AI editors and they all did the same thing to sunsets? it was on one of those tech blogs i think. anyway i totally get what you mean about the jagged edges, i gave up on those fancy tools after my grandma's birthday photo got that weird halo thing around her head. the basic crop tool is honestly underrated because it just does what you tell it to without adding random effects. its like those photo apps promise to fix everything but they end up making your shot look like a bad painting. stick with what works i say.
