Finally hit 50 perfect screenshots in a row on my phone

I've been trying to get a clean screenshot of my home screen for a week now. Every time I'd catch the volume button or get a weird reflection glare. Finally last night I sat down with my phone locked on a table and just went for it. 50 tries later and I got one that actually shows my wallpaper without any shadows or finger smudges. Has anyone else gone through this many attempts just to get a simple screenshot right?

Oh wow, that's actually super impressive but also kind of wild! You know you can just use the screenshot button that isn't the physical buttons, right? I mean on iPhones you can tap the back of the phone to take one, or use AssistiveTouch. I think some Android phones let you screenshot by swiping your hand across the screen. I'm not trying to downplay your achievement or anything, 50 tries is dedication for sure. But if you ever need another perfect screenshot, there might be an easier way to do it without all that hassle. Your wallpaper must look really nice though to put that much effort into getting it right.

Totally feel you @karen275, I was in the exact same boat once. Took me like 30 tries to get a screenshot of my lock screen with the clock perfectly lined up over the mountain in my wallpaper. I found that if you just hold the phone still and use the volume down plus power button trick, you gotta time it when nothing's moving on screen. But yeah, the back tap thing is a lifesaver now, I set mine up for quick screenshots and it works way better than fighting with the buttons. Your dedication is solid though, nothing beats the feeling of nailing that perfect shot after all that messing around.
