Found a 2002 fan site for a forgotten soda brand and it's a trip
I was digging through an old GeoCities archive and stumbled on a page for 'Surge' soda that looked like it was made in MS Paint. The whole thing had a visitor counter, a MIDI file that auto-played, and a guestbook where people argued about the best flavor. It made me realize how much personality the web had before everything got so slick and corporate. Anyone else find a weird old fan site that just shouldn't exist anymore?

Remember finding a site for a defunct fast food toy line that was just scanned crayon drawings. The web used to feel like someone's weird closet, you know?
