Update: realized my email open rates were trash for 3 months straight

I kept tweaking subject lines but nothing worked, then a mentor showed me my emails weren't hitting inboxes at all due to a SPF record issue. Total time to diagnose that stupid problem? 8 weeks of pulling my hair out until I checked the deliverability tools. Has anyone else wasted weeks on the wrong metric?

Eight weeks is fine honestly. Better to have them actually check everything properly than rush through it and miss something that comes back to bite you later. A proper SPF check means they're looking at your whole setup, not just ticking a box.
