I tried AI content generators for 3 months versus hiring a real writer and the gap was massive

Back in January I was trying to save money on my small ecommerce blog and used GPT tools for all product descriptions and posts. After 90 days my organic traffic actually dropped by 40% because the content was so generic and thin. I switched to a freelance writer who charges $150 per post and within 6 weeks my bounce rate halved and sessions went up. The AI stuff just can't match real examples or a genuine voice that actually knows the product. Has anyone else seen a huge difference between AI content and human writing for SEO?
