That $50 browser extension I bought to organize my tabs actually crashed my whole system twice

I lost all 87 tabs I had saved for a work project when it glitched out and force-closed Chrome... ended up costing me 3 hours digging through my history to find half of them again. Has anyone else had a tool backfire this bad or was I just unlucky?

Did you check the reviews for that kind of crash risk before you bought it? Most of those tab managers are just wrapped Chrome APIs with a fancy UI, so if one breaks they all break. Any chance the dev offered a refund or a fix when you told them what happened?

Did you check if it had any kind of auto-save or backup feature before buying it? I've noticed most of these tools promise the world but the second something goes wrong, your data is just gone with no way to get it back. It's like depending on one basket for all your eggs, you know?
