Found out 60% of NFT art on OpenSea is actually stolen or traced

I was digging through a blockchain analytics site called Chainanalysis last night and found this stat that really threw me. Apparently something like 60% of minted collections on OpenSea have some form of plagiarism or tracing involved. It sucks because I've been sharing my original pieces there and now I'm wondering if my work is getting ripped off too. Has anyone else done a reverse image search on their stuff and found copies?

I actually ran into this exact problem last month and found four copies of my stuff on different polygon chains. What worked for me was setting up Google alert notifications for my watermark name and checking OpenSea's DMCA takedown form every couple weeks. Have you noticed if yours are showing up under different account names or just exact file copies?

Ran those reverse image searches the second I read your post. Found three copies of my flower series on some random Polygon wallet I never touched. Google Alerts is a lifesaver honestly catches stuff way faster than I ever could manually. The DMCA thing works but it's a slog having to do it over and over again. I just started watermarking everything with a tiny pattern in the corner now. Makes it harder for them to pass it off as theirs.
