Hit a dead mall in Ohio that still has a working arcade from 1987
I stopped at the Rolling Acres Mall in Akron last Tuesday and found this tiny arcade tucked near a boarded up food court. The owner said he's been there since day one and just never left, even when the big chains pulled out. He still runs the original Galaga machine with the same coin slot that takes old 25 cent pieces. Has anyone else found a spot like this where one stubborn business just refuses to die?

I used to think dead malls were just sad, depressing places with nothing left to offer." But seeing that arcade would probably hit different. It's like a time capsule that someone actively keeps alive, not just abandoned stuff gathering dust. The owner sticking around for 38 years through all the closures and chaos, that takes a certain kind of stubborn loyalty. Honestly, it makes me respect the guy a lot more than some fancy new arcade bar that tries too hard to be retro. Nothing beats the real thing.
