Drove 2 hours to the Granite Run Mall and the food court was just a Sbarro and a pretzel stand

Got there around noon last Saturday excited to grab lunch and walk around. The whole upper level was blocked off with those plastic barriers. The pretzel guy told me the Sbarro's been running off a generator for 3 months because the landlord won't fix the electric. Has anyone else had a dead mall trip where even the basic stuff like a bathroom or a working escalator was just gone?

Man that's rough. Last time I had a dead mall situation I just grabbed whatever was open and ate it standing up by the trash can. Honestly with the Sbarro and pretzel stand you're probably better off hitting a Wawa on the way home next time.

Might be just me but I always scope out the food court before committing to anything. @richardharris has a point about the Wawa, but if you're already parked you gotta commit. I've found the Auntie Anne's cinnamon sugar pretzels actually hold up better than the Sbarro slices since they reheat decently in a microwave later.
