Appreciation post: My cat triggered a full-scale security drill last Tuesday
My cat, Mr. Whiskers, somehow managed to step on my keyboard and type a random 12-character string that matched my old, forgotten password for my home server (the one I set up back in 2018). This triggered a failed login alert from my security system at 3 AM, which then pinged my phone and woke me up thinking I was being hacked. Has anyone else had a pet cause a totally false security alarm?

Wow, pets causing tech chaos is becoming its own genre of modern life...

Remember my cat walking across the keyboard and somehow ordering a bulk case of cat food online. It's like they know exactly which button causes the most trouble. What's the worst tech disaster your pet has actually caused?
