Ordered 75 custom t-shirts for a 5k run and the color came out totally wrong. The design was supposed to be navy on a light blue shirt, but it printed as a weird purple.

This was for a local charity run in Boise. I got the proof and approved it, but the final batch looked different. I was in my garage unpacking the boxes when I saw it. Had to call the printer immediately. They said it was a screen mixing error and offered a 50% refund or a reprint, but the run was in three days. We took the refund and used the shirts anyway, but it was a bummer. Has anyone else had a color match issue this bad? What did your printer do to make it right?

How do you mess up navy that bad? A 50% refund feels cheap when the whole order is wrong. That's a tough spot to be in right before your event.

Heard about a similar mess where the printer covered the full cost for rush reprints on express shipping.
