Just hit 500 screen prints in a single run for the first time

I've been doing custom t-shirt printing out of my garage for about 8 months now, mostly small orders of 10 to 20 shirts. Last week a local band asked for 500 shirts for their tour and I almost said no. Ran the job over two days with a 4-color manual press and only had 5 misprints. Felt good to push past what I thought was my limit. Anyone else remember the first big run that made you realize you could actually handle larger jobs?

Hell yeah, that's a solid feeling right there! lmao. I remember my first big run of 300 shirts for a local car club and I was nervous as hell the whole time, but once you get that rhythm down the manual press just becomes muscle memory. It's crazy how a little confidence boost from a big order makes you realize you can actually handle the stuff that used to scare you.

300 shirts is impressive but its also like...its t shirts bro. Not brain surgery. People act like printing a run of shirts is some kind of mountaintop experience. Its just fabric and ink. Good on you for getting through it but I never understood the whole emotional journey angle with a manual press.
