Appreciation post: The print shop in my town finally explained why my DTF transfers kept cracking

They showed me I was using the wrong heat press temperature by about 30 degrees. It's not just about the time, the actual heat matters way more for that plastic layer. Has anyone else had this problem with dark fabric prints?

Did they say if humidity affects it too?

I always figured humidity didn't matter much for that. Then I saw a test where they ran the same gear at 30% and 80% humidity. The results were way different, like a 15% drop in performance when it was really damp. It made me pay a lot more attention to the weather report.
