Found a URL from 2009 that still redirects to a pop-up casino
Was cleaning out an old bookmark folder from my freshman year and clicked a link to a band's tour page, except it now bounces through three sketchy domains before landing on a Russian roulette site. Has anyone else dug up dead links that somehow got zombified into ad farms, or is my browser just haunted?

Googled my own name once out of pure boredom and found a forum post from 2007 where I said something dumb about a video game. Clicked the link to see the full thread and boom, casino site. Felt like the internet personally slapped me for being nosy. Old links are like leftovers in the back of the fridge, they look fine until you poke them and something awful crawls out. Yours is worse though because at least my shame was self-inflicted.
