Yesterday's wind shift almost turned my easy lift into a mess
I was setting a prefab wall section on a quiet site, thinking the breeze was nothing. Then a sharp gust from the river valley swung the load toward some parked trucks (my gut dropped). I had to lower it quick and redo my rigging plan right there. What's the wildest weather surprise you've had on a job?
Checking the radar just adds another thing to worry about. Sometimes you gotta just go out and deal with what comes. Planning around every cloud seems like it would stress me out more than getting a little wet. A surprise rainstorm never ruined my whole day, it's just weather.
