Switched from grease pencil to paint marker for load charts, never going back

Tbh I used to swear by grease pencils for marking load charts on the cab glass. Last month in Odessa, a buddy showed me how he uses a paint marker and wipes it off with acetone at the end of the shift. The grease pencil would smear in the heat and I'd second guess my numbers. Now I do the same and it's way cleaner, plus the lines hold up even in rain. Anyone else made the switch or still stuck on the old way?

Acetone on the cab glass every night? Man, that sounds like a chemistry experiment waiting to eat the sealant around the windshield... I've seen guys ruin gaskets that way before. But if it holds up in the rain down in Odessa, that's a solid trick, I just can't get past the smell and the mess of carrying that stuff in the truck.
