Just read that the Liebherr LTM 11200 can lift 1,200 metric tons and I'm still trying to picture it.
Saw it in an old trade magazine at the dentist's office, and the sheer scale compared to the 80-tonners I run is wild, so has anyone here ever seen one of those monsters in person?

Saw a video of one setting up a wind turbine... thing looked like a toy next to it. The counterweight setup alone is insane.

Big machines always look impressive in videos. The counterweight is just basic physics for something that tall. Seen similar setups on regular cranes for years.
