I finally had a perfect week on the crane last month

Ngl, everything just lined up for five days straight. No wind, no rain, and the steel crew actually showed up on time every morning. Has anyone else had a stretch like that where you almost felt like you were getting paid to do nothing?

Wait, you think there's such a thing as a "chill" day in a crane? You must be looking at the guy up top while I'm down here sweating over the load charts and the wind speed... I've had days where the only thing that was chill was the coffee I forgot to drink for three hours. Honestly though, when everything lines up right and the load goes in smooth, it's almost like a weird kind of meditation... until the radio crackles with a new pickup.
