TIL it took me 8 hours to fix a broken blending brush because I didn't check the glue first
Spent a whole Saturday thinking the bristles were shedding from wear, only to realize the ferrule had a tiny gap I could've fixed in 5 minutes with some epoxy, has anyone else wasted a day on a stupidly simple fix like that?

Oh come on. A whole Saturday? You didn't check the ferrule before assuming the brush was shot? That's on you for not looking at the most obvious spot first. Glue gaps are like the first thing I check when bristles start falling out. Takes two seconds to wiggle the metal part.
