Honestly, I thought the 'double cleanse' thing was just a fancy trend for a while

Tbh, I was totally skeptical about washing a client's face twice, thinking it was a waste of product and time. Then, about 3 months ago, I had a client with persistent makeup residue and dullness, so I tried it with an oil-based cleanser first, then my regular gel. The difference in her skin's texture and clarity after just two weeks was undeniable. She came back and her foundation sat so much smoother. Now I recommend it to almost everyone, especially for city living. Has anyone else had a specific client or situation that finally sold you on a technique you doubted?

It's funny how often the things we brush off as trends end up being the simple, solid fixes.

That's a solid point, @xena_williams. Makes you wonder what we're all brushing off right now that we'll kick ourselves for later. Is there a specific trend you've seen flip from silly to sensible? I've noticed a lot of the old ways of doing things are coming back around, just with a new coat of paint.
