Hey watch out for rebar chairs that look flimsy - just had a slab drop on me
I was on a driveway pour in Nashville yesterday and three of those plastic bar chairs snapped under the mesh before we even got the truck out. The whole thing sagged into the dirt and we had to pull the mesh up with hooks mid-pour - has anyone else had this happen with the cheap ones from big box stores?

Call me skeptical but I've been using those cheap plastic chairs for years and never had one snap on me like that. Maybe you got a bad batch or something but I think operator error plays into it more than folks want to admit. I've laid mesh on some pretty rough ground and those things hold up fine if you don't stomp around on them like a bull in a china shop.

Oh man, that reminds me of the time I tried to set up one of those chairs on a gravel driveway for a barbecue. I thought I was being careful, but I guess I didn't notice a little rock sticking up under the leg. I sat down and heard this loud crack and the whole thing just buckled sideways. I didn't even move that much, just sat down normally. My buddy said I probably leaned wrong, but I've sat in chairs my whole life, you know?
