Fought with a wet stamp vs a release agent for 6 hours and still picked the wrong one
I went with the wet stamp on a driveway job in Phoenix last Tuesday because I thought it'd save time but now I'm looking at a cracked mess and wondering if the release agent would've held up better in that heat, anyone else deal with this?.

The real issue might be that Phoenix concrete cures so fast in direct sun that even the right release agent would've been fighting a losing battle unless you worked at night.

Was this a homeowner direct or a contractor job where you had to eat the cost? Just curious how much say you had in the timing.
