That time a grandma brought in a toaster for a virus removal

Last Tuesday this sweet old lady hands me a toaster and says it's been acting slow. I popped it open and found 3 dead roaches shorting out the heating coil. Has anyone else gotten appliances that look nothing like a computer?

So my friend Sarah runs a shop in a strip mall and this guy dragged in a vintage blender saying it needed a hard drive upgrade. He was dead serious too, kept talking about how the "digital thermostat chip" was glitching out. She took it apart and found a folded up piece of paper with some password written on it tucked under the blade assembly. No clue what that was about but he swore it "ran faster" after she put it back together.

Hang on, maybe that toaster IS a computer. I mean, it has a circuit board, right? A heating coil is just a different kind of processor if you think about it.
