An old timer told me I was trimming my helmet weights wrong

I've been diving for 7 years and always kept my weights on the back straps. Then a guy named Pete who's been doing this since the 80s said I was putting unnecessary strain on my neck. He showed me to shift them forward about 2 inches on the band, and now I feel way more balanced on descents off the rig in Port Fourchon. Has anyone else had to rethink a basic setup habit after getting feedback from an older diver?

@holly_craig I read that forward placement helps with neck strain, makes total sense.

Oh yeah, Pete's right. Those old timers know their stuff.
