I finally listened to my body and my code got better

Many new coders believe you must grind for hours without breaks to learn fast. I used to agree, but constant wrist pain and mental fog made me rethink. Now, I take short breaks every hour to stretch my hands and look at something far away. This small change cut my pain and helped me see errors I was missing. My code runs smoother because I'm not tired or distracted. It feels wrong to stop when you're on a roll, but it actually helps you learn more. Trust me, paying attention to how you feel can make coding easier. Give it a try and see if it works for you too.

Are you sure the wrist pain is from coding and not something else? Taking breaks might help a bit, but it sounds like a small fix for a bigger problem.

Last month, my left wrist started clicking every time I moved the mouse. In my experience, those small breaks did almost nothing until I forced myself to do wrist stretches for five minutes every hour. You're right that it feels like a band-aid. Now I'm looking into a vertical mouse, because the pain seems tied to that flat, twisted position my hand is in all day.
