Last month in Charlotte I sold a house in 4 days and everyone told me I priced it too low
I listed a 3 bedroom ranch in Mint Hill for $285k and had multiple offers by Wednesday, but neighbors kept saying I left money on the table. The appraisal came back at $292k so I actually did fine, why is everyone so obsessed with squeezing every last dollar out of a sale?

Used to think leaving money on the table was the worst mistake you could make, but honestly this changed my mind. Tbh, getting a quick clean sale with multiple offers beats sitting around waiting for that perfect price that might not come. You hit above appraisal anyway so seems like everybody was wrong but you.

Yeah man 100 percent. I listed a place outside Raleigh last year for what I thought was fair market and got the same thing from every agent at the open house. "You could have gotten another 10k easy." But I had a clean offer with no contingencies in 5 days and the appraisal matched my price exactly. Sometimes the peace of mind from a fast sale is worth more than that extra money you might not even get. People get so caught up in the top dollar game they forget a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
