Hot take: I stopped using canned air for sensor cleaning and switched to a rocket blower

Used to blast my Nikon sensor with canned air every time until I got dust stuck under the shutter curtain from the propellant residue, so now I only use a Giottos rocket blower and wipe with a swab if needed, anyone else ditch the cans after a scary near miss?

Wait, were you actually using canned air on a sensor before? I thought I was the only one who didn't know any better. Yeah, I used to be all about that canned air life until I saw a buddy's shutter get totally wrecked from the residue. That was enough for me, now I just use the rocket blower and a sensor swab if I really need it.
