Unpopular opinion: Old school crimp connectors beat the new push-fit ones every time
Honestly, I used to think the push-fit F-type connectors were the future when they first came out. Tried them on a whole apartment complex job about 5 years ago. Ngl, after 6 months we had callbacks on nearly 30% of those fittings because they'd worked loose. Went back to the basic crimp style with a proper tool, and I haven't had a single failure in 3 years. The extra minute it takes to crimp is nothing compared to a repeat truck roll. Anyone else find the new 'quick' stuff just isn't as solid?

That "extra minute" is also a quality check you can't skip.

Actually makes me think about how that minute is the only quiet time in the whole process. No phone, no talking, just you and the thing you're checking. That mental space catches stuff hustle mode misses.
