I think the Klein coax stripper is way overrated compared to the Paladin one
Everyone at my shop swears by the Klein 11063, but I had two fail on me within a year... the spring just gives out. I switched to a Paladin PT-1000 about 18 months ago and it's still cutting clean every time, even after a winter working in Buffalo. Am I the only one who thinks we stick with certain brands just because they're the old standard?

Maybe it's just me but we get way too deep into the tool brand wars. They're both just wire strippers at the end of the day. If it works for you then it's a good tool.

Totally get where you're coming from, but I gotta push back on the Paladin being better across the board. The spring in the Klein can be a weak spot, but their customer service is solid for a free fix. My Paladin's blade got real loose after a few months of heavy use, and it just doesn't feel as tough in the hand. Sometimes the old standard sticks around because the replacement parts are just easier to find in any supply house.
