Hot take: that random flyer about lost cats changed how I see my neighborhood

I was grabbing coffee at the laundromat on Grand Ave and saw this handwritten note about a cat named Binx that went missing 3 days ago. The owner drew a little map of where Binx liked to hide under porches. It made me realize I barely know my neighbors, I just walk past their houses every day. Have you ever actually looked at the bulletin boards near you or do you just ignore them too?

Honestly, I think you're kinda romanticizing that flyer a bit. Most bulletin boards are just cluttered with ads for junk removal and guitar lessons nobody asked for. Tbh, one handwritten cat map doesn't mean the neighborhood's full of hidden connections, it just means one person really loves their cat.

You ever look at a cork board and realize your own life is like the faded pizza takeout menu nobody's touched since 2019? lol
