My march spread was a total disaster and i almost quit

I spent like 3 hours on my March monthly spread, did all these fancy watercolor flowers and gold lettering. Then the markers bled through like 12 pages and ruined my whole future log. Has anyone else had a spread that went so bad it made you wanna toss the whole notebook in the trash?

Don't gold letter on thin paper, save that for heavy sketchbooks.

Hear me out - thin paper gives that delicate, airy look that heavy sketchbooks just can't match. The slight ghosting and light bleed adds character, makes it feel vintage and intentional.
