Choosing between a weekly spread and a rolling daily log for my work tasks
I picked the rolling daily because it lets me move unfinished items forward without rewriting them. It saved me maybe 15 minutes every Monday morning. Anyone have a better system for a job with shifting priorities?

What about using sticky notes for those shifting tasks? I just move them around my planner page.

Disagree hard on the sticky notes. They get lost, fall off, and create visual clutter that makes the whole system feel messy. A clean rolling daily log is way better for shifting priorities because everything stays in one reliable place. @taylor.betty, moving little papers around sounds like extra steps you don't need. The digital version of a rolling task list on your phone is even faster, no setup at all.

Sticky notes are a game changer for that exact problem. I tried color coding mine for different projects and it cut down on my morning setup time even more. The physical act of moving them around helps me remember what got pushed versus what's actually new. It feels less like busy work and more like actually managing the chaos.
