Just realized I wasted $60 on a fancy meal kit subscription

Signed up for Green Chef thinking it'd cut grocery waste, but after 3 boxes I had more plastic than food and the recipes took forever. The $60 could've bought me 3 dinners at the local diner. Anyone else ditch meal kits for something simpler?

Oh man, did yours come with those tiny packets of everything too? I tried Hello Fresh once and the amount of cardboard and plastic bags made me feel guilty every time I tossed them. The meals were okay but not worth the counter space. It was like cooking on hard mode.

Did you keep any of those tiny spice packets for later or did you just trash everything immediately? Because I swear I still have a drawer full of random soy sauce packets and cumin that I'll never use but can't bring myself to throw away lol. The cardboard guilt hit me hardest when I realized I was basically paying someone to send me garbage every week.
