Hit 50 countries last month with just a carry-on bag

I crossed over 50 countries last month when I landed in Albania. The thing that surprised me is how little I actually spent to get there. I used flight deals from budget airlines and stayed in hostels for around $15 a night. Most people think you need thousands of dollars to travel that much but I kept my monthly budget under $800. Has anyone else tracked their country count and noticed it went up faster than you expected?

I hit 47 countries last year on a similar budget, mostly by stacking flight deals from Ryanair and Wizz Air through Eastern Europe. Hostels and street food kept my costs way down too, usually around $700 a month if I stayed in cheaper spots like the Balkans or Southeast Asia. It definitely adds up fast when you start hopping through smaller countries where buses are like $5 between borders.

Man, I feel that so hard. Hitting 50 countries is no joke, especially with just a carry on. I remember when my count suddenly jumped too, it felt like once you get the hang of cheap flights and hostels, the numbers just fly by.
