My $20 thrift store rice cooker changed everything
I was at Goodwill last Saturday and grabbed a beat up Zojirushi for $20. Tried it on some bulk jasmine rice and it came out perfect every time without watching the pot. Anyone else find random kitchen gear that actually saves you cash in the long run?

Are you really out here acting like a $20 rice cooker changed your whole life or is this just a regular Tuesday? I mean it's a rice cooker, not a magic wand.

Have you actually tried a nicer rice cooker before, or is this your first one? Because I'm curious if the quality difference is really that noticeable with cheap vs expensive brands. I've always used a basic $15 one from Target and it works fine for me, but I keep hearing people rave about Zojirushi like it's life changing.
