Rant: Read a local binding shop's terms of service last night and I'm mad
I was browsing this store's site near Portland to get some book cloth, and buried in their fine print it says they can re-sell photos of your finished books without asking. No extra payment, no permission needed. I get that they want portfolio shots, but they should at least ask first. Has anyone else run into sneaky clauses like this when ordering supplies?

That's just slimy, especially for a local shop.

I saw the same thing happen at a bakery downtown last month. They charged $8 for a loaf of bread that was basically half the size it used to be, and when someone asked about it the owner just shrugged. It feels like every small business is trying to squeeze every penny out of us lately. People on this forum have been posting about price hikes at local coffee shops and hardware stores too. Not sure when it became okay to just quietly shrink what you get without saying anything.
