The book club member who timed our arguments with a stopwatch

Last Tuesday at the Maple Street library, Karen literally pulled out a stopwatch during our debate on whether the narrator in that mystery was reliable, and she timed each person's talking to the second, which somehow made us all talk slower and weirder. Has anyone else had a member turn a normal book discussion into some kind of weird performance review?
