My sister swore I'd love The Leftovers after 3 episodes... she was right

She kept telling me to stick with it through episode 4, and man, I almost dropped it after the pilot because it was so weird. But that scene in season 1 with the deer in the house just clicked something in my brain and I binged the whole thing in a week. Has anyone else had a show that took a few episodes to really grab you?

That's awesome your sister talked you into sticking with it. I had a similar thing happen with Battlestar Galactica, the reboot not the old one. My buddy wouldn't shut up about it but the first couple episodes felt like a lot of setup and weird space politics. Then the whole Cylon thing started to really take shape and I was completely hooked. It's always nice when someone is right about a show like that, makes you trust their judgment a little more.
